with that out of the way:

objectum, as well as terms like OS/OR [object sexuality/object romance] and object-sexual, mean... well, an attraction to inanimate objects! this can be quite literally anything, ranging from computers and cars to concepts. it's something often linked with things like autism, but anyone can be objectum!

objectum is something you see paired with POSIC a lot - POSIC stands for Perception of Object Sentience, Intelligence, and Consciousness, which means that you believe that objects are sentient, but you don't need to be POSIC to be objectum. i am not POSIC myself [though i feel empathy for objects].

i personally am attracted to a lot of stuff [romantically, platonically, etc.], but my main one is technology of all sorts, especially older supercomputers. the reason the colossus is in britain is because id fuck it if it were in america. i also have my laptop, dell, my phone, and my buddy - my water bottle, lucky strike! we're in situationships of sorts ::-P

"is the term 'objectum' only for romantic/sexual attraction?"

it is absolutely NOT! anyone can be attracted to objects in any way they can feel attraction to normal people - platonic, queerplatonic, romantic, sexual, even more... the world is your OYSTER, buddy!!!!!
its also worth noting that objectum-sexuality and attraction towards humans can be separate. you can be attracted to people but not objects and vice versa.
